What it is
The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Vlada Federacije Bosne i Hercegovine) is the executive branch of government for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, one of the two political entities comprising Bosnia and Herzegovina. Headed by the Prime Minister alongside two Deputy Prime Ministers and sectoral ministers, its mandate is to propose entity legislation and budgets, enforce laws, and manage public administration in areas such as economic policy, healthcare, social welfare, and transport across its ten cantons. Established in 1994 following the Washington Agreement that ended the Croat–Bosniak War and formed the Federation, its institutional framework was formally integrated into the post-war constitutional order under the 1995 Dayton Peace Agreement.
