The Government of the Slovak Republic is the supreme executive body of Slovakia, led by the Prime Minister alongside deputy prime ministers and cabinet ministers. It is responsible for enacting national laws, shaping public policy, and directing state administration in accountability to the National Council. Established following the dissolution of Czechoslovakia and the enactment of the Constitution of the Slovak Republic on January 1, 1993, it oversaw the nation's peaceful transition into an independent democratic state.
