The Directorate for Economic Diplomacy and Development Cooperation is a specialized division within Slovenia's Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs. It promotes the internationalization of the Slovenian economy, supports domestic enterprises in foreign markets, and plans and implements official development assistance (ODA) and humanitarian aid programs. The directorate emerged through administrative restructuring of Slovenia's diplomatic service to unify external commercial interests with international development commitments following the country's entry into the EU and OECD Development Assistance Committee.
