The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) is an autonomous prosecutorial institution in Ukraine dedicated to combating high-level political and administrative corruption. Its mandate includes supervising criminal investigations conducted by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and presenting the state's prosecution before the High Anti-Corruption Court. Established in September 2015 as part of Ukraine's landmark post-Euromaidan anti-corruption reforms, SAPO's institutional autonomy was significantly reinforced in December 2023 when legislation established it as a fully independent legal entity.
