Shots in Dallas

The attempt was made in front of thousands of people. Slayer almost caught in the act. Despite the death of John Fitzgerald Kennedy still provokes questioning, for which there is no clear answer.

John Fitzgerald Kennedy, often referred to briefly JFK , certainly deserved to be called a man of success. He was young , handsome , rich, with a beautiful wife at his side, and the addition presided USA . He was the youngest person selected for this position – he was only 43 years old. For lasting from January 20, 1961 to November 22, 1963 the period of his presidency coincided with a number of important events: the failed invasion of Cuba at the Bay of Pigs , the flight of Gagarin and the beginning of the ” space race ” between the U.S. and Soviet compound , the construction of the Berlin Wall , the Cuban missile crisis , which almost led to the outbreak of nuclear war , the beginning of the fight against racial segregation in the southern United States. The president himself in many of these events played an important role. He supported the civil rights movement and initiated a program of flights to the moon. Already his inaugural speech went down in history thanks to the famous words he has addressed it to all Americans : ” Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.”

In the black Friday November 22, 1963 , Kennedy flew the presidential plane to Dallas, Texas. It was about gaining followers there needed in the upcoming battle for a second term in the White House . At 11.55 the president , his wife and Governor John Connally moved from the outdoor car Lincoln Continental Convertible toward the center of the city . The route passing was made public a few days before, so the president greeted crowds on the streets . Meanwhile, in a nearby building depot bookselling hid one of her employees , a man named Lee Harvey Oswald .

It was from a former Marine and a soldier in time of military service was inclined to communism. He fired at her in 1959 , explaining this need to care for her mother. Instead of her, went to the USSR, where he applied for a rustic citizenship and even married a Russian woman . Took up various jobs and worked in the company of supporters of Fidel Castro. Citizenship , however, did not get , and after more than two years, he returned to the United States. April 10, 1963 , he began an attempt to shoot General Edwin Walker , a bitter enemy of Castro , but the bullet only wounded the victim. The police did not even fell on his trail . In September, unsuccessfully tried again to get a visa to the USSR.

To the next assassination Oswald prepared better. Equipped himself with a rifle with a telescopic sight , which brought decomposed and wrapped in paper. Then he hid among the boxes of books on the fifth floor , where he had a good view of the street , whereupon assembled and loaded weapon. No one disturbed him , because all the employees went to lunch or greet the president. At 12.30 pm the presidential column of cars drove slowly beside the depot . A few minutes later fired by Oswald’s bullet went through Kennedy ‘s neck , and then went in the back sitting Connally. Despite severe internal injuries governor survived. After a few (according to various estimates from 4.5 to 8.5) seconds of the second bullet hit the right side of the head of the president, passed through, snatching the parietal bone fragment . Kennedy died despite immediate transport to the hospital. The doctor said death at 14.00 . The body was transported by plane to Washington, where it was buried in the cemetery in Arlington .

Oswald after the assassination left the depot building and hid in a nearby cinema , shoot on the way a policeman who wanted to stop him. Police arrested the gunman after two hours . It had to stand trial – on Sunday at the behest of the FBI director John Edgar Hoover had to be transported from the police custody in jail. When I introduced him to the car , the gathered reporters pushed the owner of a nightclub in Dallas, Jack Ruby , who in the eyes of millions of viewers shot Oswald. Later, he claimed that he acted spontaneously , to avenge the death of the president and save the widow of unpleasantness associated with the process . He was sentenced to life imprisonment , which in his case lasted only four years , because in 1967, died of lung cancer .

Death of a charismatic president was a shock to people around the world . Millions of Americans that day stuck forever in the memory , like Sept. 11, 38 years later. Event in Dallas today awakens emotions and controversy . It spawned a lot of confusion and suspicion , which can be reduced to the question of whether Oswald really act alone ?

After the assassination , President Lyndon Baines Johnson appointed a special commission , having to explain his circumstances. The Warren Commission , named after its chairman Earl Warren found that Oswald acted alone (‘ lone shooter theory ” ) , fired three shots , two of which reached the goal, and the first of them also wounded Connally ` s governor (so-called “theory of a single bullet ” ) . Files committee has been classified into 2,029 years , but thanks to the introduced later rules may be disclosed as early as 2017. The verdict of the Warren Commission was questioned by many people.

Especially sharply criticized was the ” single bullet theory .” Skeptics call it ironic ” magic bullet theory ” – in their opinion, one bullet would not have been able to cause so many injuries to two people. In addition, the bullet would have to twist a few times in flight , as the flight path , which she left in the body of the president and the governor but rather that two bullets fired from different places. The problem is that nobody knows exactly which way the bullet passed through JFK ‘s body , because I made the relevant research. The doctors performing the autopsy , they were not even sure if the wound is a wound on his neck inlet or outlet ! It is known only on the basis of photos taken by witnesses to the attack .

The inaccuracy with which the autopsy president, is one of the main arguments of conspiracy theorists . They claim that the Warren Commission produced shall ” proof # 399 ” is far too little distorted as the bullet passed through the two bodies . They also point to negligence in the collection and preservation of evidence after the event: the assassination of not just closed to traffic , the presidential car was washed , without investigating it by experts . Preserved after brain autopsy president disappeared under mysterious circumstances in 1966. It is surprising or unusual disregard the normal rules for the protection of the president, which took place during his tragic visit to Dallas.

Many people have high hopes for the explanation of the mystery shot in Dallas with the disclosure materials Warren Commission . According to a study from 2003 , more than half of Americans had no doubt that President Kennedy was killed by a conspiracy . What would have happened if there had been some clear evidence of not confirming this theory ? Are Americans would be willing to recognize that a great president fell “just ” a victim of a lone madman , and not some powerful forces ?
