About this table
World Events: a geopolitical intelligence and political risk tracker
This is the table view of our world events tracker. It lists the same political and institutional events you see on the world map, as a filterable list, so you can scan, compare and drill into change across countries. Every row is a real, geolocated event linked to the institution involved, the people named in it and a cited source.
Freshness: the data is refreshed as close to real time as possible, so new events appear here shortly after they are reported.
What it tracks
- Government and state personnel changes (PEP): appointments, dismissals, resignations, retirements, elections, government formation, coalition changes, ambassador rotations and the death of public figures.
- Law and regulation: new national and international legislative acts.
- International relations and economy: treaties, sanctions, alliances, trade agreements, tariffs, summits and diplomatic breaks.
Who it is for
- Analysts and researchers following political risk and country exposure.
- Compliance, AML and KYC teams tracking changes in politically exposed persons (PEP) and the office-holders behind them.
