The Belarusian Institute of Strategic Research (BISR) is a state-run think tank and policy analysis center in Belarus. Its primary mandate is to provide informational, analytical, and forecasting support to state bodies and senior leadership on domestic, foreign, and national security policies. The institute was established on February 12, 2019, by a decree of the President of Belarus to strengthen national strategic planning and expert diplomacy.
