What it is
The Groupe des instituts du service public (G-ISP) is a French national public administrative institution responsible for overseeing and coordinating the initial and continuing training of interministerial civil service managers and administrative attachés. Established by decree in January 2026, it unified the former regional institutes of administration (Instituts régionaux d'administration, or IRA) under a single national structure headquartered in Lille. The reform aligns with France's modernization of civil service education following the creation of the Institut national du service public.
