Chancellery of the PresidentGovernment

Poland · founded 1989

What it is

The Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland is the primary auxiliary institution supporting the President of Poland in executing their constitutional duties as head of state. It provides legal, political, protocol, and organizational backing for the president's legislative initiatives, diplomatic engagements, and official decisions. While the tradition of a civil presidential chancellery traces back to 1922 during the Second Polish Republic, the modern institution was officially reconstituted in 1989 following the Round Table negotiations and the restoration of the presidency.
