General Secretariat of the GovernmentGovernment

The General Secretariat of the Government is a public institution within the working apparatus of the Government of Romania, subordinated to the Prime Minister. It provides technical and strategic support for government activities and ensures continuity in the implementation of government decisions. Its responsibilities include coordinating administrative, legal, economic and technical matters related to the work of the Government and the Prime Minister. It also coordinates activities concerning constitutional relations between the Government and Parliament and represents the Government in court proceedings.
