Administration of VladivostokLocal authority
Russia · founded 1875
What it is
The Administration of Vladivostok is the executive branch of local government for the city of Vladivostok, the administrative center of Primorsky Krai in the Russian Far East. Headed by the Mayor of Vladivostok, it is mandated to manage municipal property, public services, urban planning, infrastructure, and local socio-economic development programs. While municipal self-government in Vladivostok dates back to the establishment of the first city duma and election of its first mayor in 1875, the modern administrative entity was reconstituted following post-Soviet municipal governance reforms.
