The Council of the Sirius Federal Territory is the representative and governing body of Sirius, Russia's first federal territory located in Krasnodar Krai. It is responsible for passing local normative acts and the territorial charter, approving the socio-economic development strategy and budget, and appointing the head of the territorial administration. Established by federal law in December 2020 following constitutional amendments that enabled federal territories, the Council held its inaugural elections and first convened in autumn 2021.
