The Republican People's Party (CHP) Kavak District Branch is the local administrative organization of Turkey's main opposition party in the Kavak district of Samsun Province. Its mandate is to conduct local political campaigns, coordinate party grassroots activities, manage membership, and field candidates for municipal and national elections in the district. Along with the national party, which was founded by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in 1923 and banned after the 1980 military coup, the local organization resumed official activities following the party's reconstitution in 1992.
