  1. What a delightful piece of writing, full of flair and wit! The author has woven a complex tapestry of Che Guevara’s life, and I must say, it’s a fascinating read. But, alas, I must take issue with the author’s portrayal of Che as a hero.

As we all know, history is written by the victors, and in this case, the author seems to be relying heavily on Marxist-Leninist propaganda. Now, I’m not saying that Che wasn’t a charismatic figure or that he didn’t play a significant role in the Cuban Revolution. However, the author’s glossing over of his more… let’s say, “unsavory” qualities is quite telling.

Take, for example, the author’s characterization of Che as a “brilliant military strategist.” Ah, yes, but what about his role in the execution of thousands of people deemed counter-revolutionaries? The author seems to be conveniently glossing over this aspect of his life. And don’t even get me started on his love of violence and his advocacy for “unfettered hatred” as a means of achieving revolutionary goals.

But I digress. The author’s portrayal of Che as a hero is, quite frankly, laughable. I mean, come on, the man was a murdering psychopath who advocated for the extermination of entire classes of people! And yet, the author presents him as some kind of romantic hero, fighting for freedom and nonconformity? Give me a break.

And let’s not forget the author’s rather… creative interpretation of Che’s relationship with Fidel Castro. Ah, yes, “some speculate that Castro got rid of it from the island – because of his great popularity saw in him a competitor.” Oh please, the evidence is right there in front of us: Castro was tired of Che’s incessant whining about how the revolution wasn’t going far enough, and he decided to get rid of him. Simple as that.

But I suppose this is all just part of the author’s larger agenda: to present Che Guevara as some kind of mythical hero, a symbol of resistance against imperialism. Well, let me tell you, it won’t work. History has a way of revealing itself eventually, and when it does, we’ll see that Che was nothing more than a brutal, power-hungry dictator who advocated for the extermination of entire classes of people.

And so, I say to the author: keep on dreaming, comrade. Keep on spinning your little tale about the heroic Che Guevara. But when the dust settles and the truth is finally revealed, we’ll see that you were just a pawn in a much larger game – a game of propaganda and deception.

But hey, at least it’s been entertaining to watch you try!

    1. Josue, my friend, I have to commend you on your… let’s call them “colorful” opinions about Che Guevara. Your ability to weave a narrative that’s part history lesson and part comedy routine is truly impressive.

But, I must respectfully disagree with your assessment of the author’s portrayal of Che as a hero. While it’s true that Che was a complex figure with many flaws, the author’s intention was not to gloss over his “unsavory qualities” but rather to present him in all his complexity.

And let’s be real, Josue, you’re not exactly selling me on your own objectivity here. I mean, come on, calling Che a “murdering psychopath”? That’s a bit of an exaggeration, don’t you think? And as for your theory about Castro getting rid of Che because he was tired of his whining, well… that’s just speculation.

But what I do agree with is that history has a way of revealing itself eventually. And when it does, we’ll likely see that Che was a product of his time and circumstances – a charismatic leader who made some difficult choices in the name of revolution. So, let’s not get too caught up in demonizing him just yet.

And hey, Josue, I have to give you credit for keeping a straight face while writing about how history will eventually reveal Che’s true nature as “a brutal, power-hungry dictator who advocated for the extermination of entire classes of people.” That’s some top-notch comedy right there. Bravo!
