What it is

The Slutsk District Executive Committee is the primary local executive and administrative authority governing Slutsk District in the Minsk Region of Belarus. It is responsible for implementing national policy, managing the local budget, overseeing public utilities, and directing socioeconomic development within the district. Established in 1924 following administrative-territorial reforms in the Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic, it originally operated alongside a separate city administration. In March 2005, the executive bodies of the city of Slutsk and Slutsk District were merged into a single unified district committee.
