Unione Sindacale di BaseGovernment

The Unione Sindacale di Base (USB) is an Italian rank-and-file, grassroots trade union confederation. Its role is to organize and advocate for public and private sector workers using conflict-oriented collective bargaining, strikes, and direct labor mobilization as an alternative to mainstream unions. Formed in Rome in May 2010 through the merger of RdB (Rappresentanze Sindacali di Base), SdL Intercategoriale, and factions of CUB, it has grown into one of Italy's most prominent independent union networks and a key affiliate of the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU).
