What it is
The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Poland to the United Nations is the primary diplomatic representation of Poland to the UN headquarters in New York. Its mandate is to advance Polish foreign policy, represent national interests in the UN General Assembly and subsidiary bodies, and contribute to international peace, security, and multilateral treaties. Poland was among the founding signatories of the UN Charter in 1945, and the mission notably led Poland's terms as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, most recently in 2018–2019.
