What it is
The Przemyśl City Council (Rada Miejska w Przemyślu) is the municipal legislative and supervisory governing body of the city of Przemyśl in southeastern Poland. It is responsible for passing local bylaws, enacting the municipal budget, and overseeing local development and public services. While municipal self-governance in Przemyśl dates back to its Magdeburg law incorporation in 1389, the modern democratic council was re-established following Poland's local elections on May 27, 1990.
