What it is

The Ministry of the Presidency, Justice and Relations with the Cortes is a ministerial department of the Government of Spain responsible for supporting the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, coordinating constitutional affairs and legislative relations with the Cortes Generales, and overseeing administration of the justice system. Established in November 2023 under Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, it merged the previously separate Ministry of the Presidency and Ministry of Justice into a single government department. This reorganization consolidated executive coordination and judicial policy under a unified ministerial portfolio for Spain's 15th Legislature.
