What it is
The Churches Conservation Trust is the national charity protecting historic churches at risk in England. Established in 1969 as the Redundant Churches Fund following the Church of England's Pastoral Measure 1968, it cares for historic places of worship that no longer have regular worshipping congregations. Renamed in 1994, the Trust now conserves hundreds of listed parish churches, sustaining them as community, cultural, and heritage spaces.
