What it is
The Bulgarian Wrestling Federation is the national governing body responsible for the administration, development, and promotion of amateur wrestling disciplines in Bulgaria. It organizes national championships, oversees youth training, and selects national teams for international competitions such as the Olympic Games and World Championships. Established in 1932, the federation joined the International Wrestling Federation (now United World Wrestling) in the same year, supporting a sport that has historically been Bulgaria's most successful Olympic discipline.
