Consulate of the Republic of the Congo in SofiaGovernment

The Consulate of the Republic of the Congo in Sofia is an honorary diplomatic and consular mission representing the Republic of the Congo (Congo-Brazzaville) in the Republic of Bulgaria. Its mandate is to foster bilateral relations between the two nations, promote bilateral trade, cultural, and economic partnerships, and protect the consular interests of Congolese citizens residing in or visiting Bulgaria. The establishment of the consulate in Sofia was formally approved by the Council of Ministers of Bulgaria in October 2026, with Bulgarian business executive Nedelin Petrov designated to head the mission as honorary consul.
