Ministry of Education and ScienceGovernment

The Ministry of Education and Science of North Macedonia (Министерство за образование и наука) is a cabinet-level executive department of the Government of North Macedonia. Its mandate is to formulate and implement state policy concerning primary, secondary, higher, and vocational education, support scientific research, oversee national educational curricula, and manage public school infrastructure and student welfare. Originally founded in 1991 upon the country's independence, the department was formally restructured into its modern portfolio combining education and science under the Law on the Organization and Operation of State Administration Organs enacted in July 2000.
