What it is
The NHS Pay Review Body (NHSPRB) is an independent advisory non-departmental public body that advises the United Kingdom's health departments on healthcare worker remuneration. Its mandate is to examine evidence from trade unions, employers, and government ministers to provide impartial annual recommendations regarding the pay of staff employed under the Agenda for Change framework. Originally established in 1983 to determine pay for nursing staff and allied health professions in response to industrial disputes, its remit was significantly expanded in 2007 to cover the majority of non-medical NHS personnel.
