Oak National Academy is an executive non-departmental public body sponsored by the UK's Department for Education. Its mandate is to provide free, adaptable curriculum resources, video lessons, and digital teaching materials to support educators and reduce teacher workload across England. Originally established in April 2020 by a collective of teachers in response to COVID-19 pandemic school closures, it was formally reconstituted as a permanent arm's-length government body in September 2022.
