The Kentucky Heritage Council is a state government agency that serves as Kentucky's State Historic Preservation Office under the Kentucky Tourism, Arts and Heritage Cabinet. Its mandate is to identify, document, protect, and preserve the Commonwealth's historic, architectural, and archaeological resources.
